Masha Mochalnikova's Green Chemistry Blog
About me
I am Masha Mochalnikova, and I am an international student, studying in Switzerland. I first discovered my passion for Chemistry in Science class, which I was able to further explore in honours classes, summer programs, and internships. The beauty of Chemistry fascinated me; it explained things, at times complicated things, but above anything else, it gave me knowledge about the world around me—seeking this knowledge furthered my interests of Chemistry and its many branches. Having lived in Switzerland for seven years, my love for the environment has only strengthened. I found the intersection of my love for Chemistry ad my love for sustainability ad protecting the environment in the form of Green Chemistry. This blog will follow my research in the field, specifically looking at how Microwave Chemistry can be used to promote and strengthen Green Chemistry in the synthesis of aspirin.
