UN Sustainable Development Gaols
"The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were adopted by the United Nations in 2015 as a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity."“Sustainable Development Goals” (“Sustainable Development Goals.”).
The 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals were what inspired me to conduct my research in the first place, specifically focusing on Goal 12, Responsible Consumption and Production and Goal 13, Climate Change. These two goals were kept in mind when investigating Green Chemistry and Microwave Chemistry, and were the overarching theme of my work.
